Didn't have a chance to comment until this morning, but the Hacks ending was a letdown. Not just cowardice, but too rushed and too pat. I will say that grief never really goes away. It just manifests in some strange ways and at some strange times off and on. You just appreciate the moments when you can breathe all the more. I hope you have many lovely memories of your dad. That's all we can ask for.

So glad I'm not the only one who thinks that about hacks, I was starting to feel insane. Thank you for the lovely comment!! I do have many fond memories of my dad, we got along well, and I believe we would have been even closer now that I'm an adult. I mentioned the grief because, like you, I realized it doesn't go away and manifests in weird ways, you never really "get over it" (sending virtual hug ♥️). Hopefully someone reading might feel less alone.

omg so sorry if i made until dawn sound funny! i'm also so with you on the actual logistics behind the plot, i was in it for the friendship.

and completely agree about the boys! i was bummed with how much time they wasted setting up the prequel none of us asked for, but left satisfied.

and off campus is a perfect show, but the books are terrible, so you're doing the right thing by skipping them lol

Ahahaha, I'm sure you didn't, the time loop premise just sounded as comedy in my brain. It's my own fault!! But no regrets anyways bc it was enjoyable. Also ty for confirming I don't need to read the off campus books.

Our comeback was with Choke Me, a fitting Eurovision song

This hit my funny bone unerringly

I'm sorry about your dad.

Thank you! And I'm glad the Choke Me bit was amusing 😊
